Hm: 5.04 x 7.09 inch. and 2 prints: 6.78 x 5 inch. and 4.85 x 7.09 inch. Note : Le film Corrida fut retrouvé dans l'atelier de Man Ray rue Férou en 1985 et fut présenté dans le cadre de l'exposition Man Ray cinéaste (Fondation Bismarck) en 1986. The film Corrida was found in Man Ray's studio on rue Férou in 1985 and was presented as part of the Man Ray filmmaker exhibition (Fondation Bismarck) in 1986. Lucien Treillard found these photographs in the archives of Ady Fidelin, who was Man Ray's companion from 1935 to 1940. The theme of killing is recurrent in surrealism. One of the images in this series was also used in a very different context: the booklet Exposition Coloniale Internationale, a feature by Man Ray (1931) presents three images, including an aloe plant (cf. lot n°124) and a pornographic image, thus reinforcing the sadistic aspect of the bullfight.
