LOUIS XIII, King of France (1601-1643). Double-sided bronze medal with gilded patina, depicting him in bust form, head turned to the right, dressed in a fleurdelisé mantle, nimbed and crowned, wearing the attire of the kings of France, surrounded by the inscription: "PRO SCEPTRIS ARAS DAT TELLUS ET DEUS ASTRA", and on the other side appears a view of the façade of the Saint-Louis-des-Jésuites church surrounded by the inscription "LVDOVICVS. XIII. D. G. FRANCOR. ET. NAV. REX. FVNDAVIT AN. MDCXXVII". French work, probably 17th century. Wear to gilding, small hole at top. Diameter: 6 cm.
