Ink a little pale for the first one, more important defects for the second one (wetness leading to a lack in corner reaching the beginning of the lines). Mandements to his treasurer to pay the sum of 2250 livres tournois to Jehan de Crussol, seigneur de Beaudiné, his squire tranchant (Saint-Germain- en-Laye, May 5, 1549); the second to "notre cher et bien amé Françoys de Valfrenières" granting him the payment of his wages (September 5, 1556). Attached is a mandate in the name of François 1er, signed by his secretary of state Gilbert Bayard, for Guillaume Chavalle, trumpet of the King, 1541 (defects).
