Flintlock shotgun, double barrel in a half-sided table then round, signed on the band in letters gold: "JN LAMOTTE L'AÎNÉ - CN TORDU", calibre 15 mm; flat-body locks signed: "J. LAMOTTE" and "L'AÎNÉ", swan-neck dogs, screws for fixing golden dogs; cut-out iron fittings; slightly carved walnut stock, leather-covered stock heel and cheek pad, tin thumb piece in the shape of a lily arrow; length 129 cm. (Oxidations; the leathers of the stick are missing in part; the stick is missing). End of the 18th century, around 1770/1780. Quite good condition Note: This is probably Joseph LAMOTTE, harquebusier in Saint-Étienne, born in 1716 † in 1807, or his son Jean LAMOTTE around 1746/1798.
