HUGO (Victor), TOUSSAINT (Madame)
[Wrecks]. S.l.n.d. In-12, cardboard from the time, the golden title on the first plate. Collection of verses, without title page, probably a private edition around 1860. The author was the daughter of Joseph Samson, dean of the members of the Comédie française. Victor Hugo's letter of thanks (one page in-8) was attached at the top: I have read, Madam, your touching and charming book, it is my emotion that congratulates you (...) There is race in your beautiful talent. These verses from a woman, these verses from a mother, these verses from a soul, touched my heart. Broken twine from the first dish.
